June is Cataract Awareness Month

This month, we are hoping to create more awareness and educate people about one of the leading causes of vision loss in the world.

A cataract is a clouding or loss of clarity of the natural lens of the eye. Cataracts do not cause pain but can reduce the quality of vision. Cataracts can occur with age, trauma, use of certain medications, extensive sun exposure, and various other causes.
